Think of the moisture evaporation caused by the bush fires.
:specialstupid:
Actually you're the ignorant one. [liveleak]https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flammagenitus_(cloud)
uhm.. u must have not read your own link. you are reinforcing his correct statement. A flammagenitus cloud can help or hinder a fire. Sometimes, the moisture from the air condenses in the cloud and then falls as rain, often extinguishing the fire. There have been numerous examples where a large firestorm has been extinguished by the flammagenitus that it created.[4] However, if the fire is large enough, then the cloud may continue to grow, and become a type of cumulonimbus cloud known as a cumulonimbus flammagenitus, which may produce lightning and start another fire.[5] yeah ok under lightning causes another fire lol sure, whatevs wiki. we get the point.
Coming from Malta you cannot even for a millisecond put yourself in our shoes. You have no idea what is happening here. You might have had a holiday here, maybe relations here still you have no idea.
Yep, no idea. Op is a yank, and has a lot to learn too. .
its funny how the topic gets derailed so easily around here xD mrDCT - i certainly never implied knowing for a 'millisecond' what you guys are going through - i come from a little speck on the map no clue. i dont know why you felt you had to tell me what you did.. fine i have no idea its true ^^ i just pointed out to some anonymous chap that his wiki link to supposedly disprove your fellow aussie pinkorchid, was void.. the rest is in the wiki :) if your comment alluded to my 'lightning causing fire' bit.. then forgetaboutit cos we on different wavelengths ^^ Just wanted to clarify.. this once in a blue moon i post. good day yall. aLaN
It’s really real. This time it’s gonna rain. We haven’t had rain where I am in months! Everything is so dry and brown. Water restrictions mean everyone’s beautiful lawns are now brown. The birds and the flying foxes are starving for nectar. The trees are losing leaves when they should be blooming. We need this rain so bad!
A couple teaser clouds have come through the last couple weeks, barely wetting the surface. Hopefully it was enough to make the ground more absorbent.
Thanks to everyone around the world who prayed or even hoped for rain for us!!!
