As I watch this pandemic and the reactions of the Chinese government and the potential for martial law and revolution around the world, I cannot help but think of Solzhenitsyn's quote, "What would things been like [in Russia] if during periods of mass arrests people had not simply sat there, paling with terror at every bang on the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but understood they had nothing to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people?"
How ironic that the man who wrote those words is slandered by Bernie organizers who believe gulags are a good thing.
While searching for this quote in response to another thread, I found a few dozen choice Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn quotes that would resonate with many on GLP.
