So you’re conceding that this is rationing HEALTHCARE and that Trump is wrong to continue to write this off as the flu like he did yesterday during the FOX TOWNHALL?
Not about Trump. The ones who say dont listen to him are the ones who listenthe most. ??? Lets talk about head of the hospital and how many are sick and how many ventilators are on site?? Where i live the hospital durector has said come to the hospital. We have plenty of ventilators and we also have some that can be repurposed for this as well. We have also been told by all schools and vocational schools that they are donating all of the medical equipment as well. Nobody is sitting around bashing or approving Trump because they are getting the job done. Must be nice to sit around all day and worry about Trump at chicago's hospitals. I think they need to be contacting elon musk as he is now making and shipping ventilators. There was also a military supply of 500k being transported. Reach out and up. Not look down and stomp. Sounds a lot like Italy's measures.
From the article:
Hospitals on the front lines of the pandemic are engaged in a heated private debate over a calculation few have encountered in their lifetimes — how to weigh the “save at all costs” approach to resuscitating a dying patient against the real danger of exposing doctors and nurses to the virus’s contagion.
The conversations are driven by the realization that the risk to staff amid dwindling stores of protective equipment — such as masks, gowns and gloves — may be too great to justify the conventional response when a patient “codes,” and their heart or breathing stops.
Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago has been discussing a universal do-not-resuscitate policy for infected patients, regardless of the wishes of the patient or their family members — a wrenching decision to prioritize the lives of the many over the one.
