[quote:Anonymous Coward 77504359:MV80MzIzNzkwXzc4NzI0OTQ2XzdGMzY4RDQ0] I'm in far Southern New Jersey, almost 3 hours South of NYC. I spent 20 years drunk, depressed and obsessed with all kinds of fictional doom (been here since the beginning). This virus hit, I stopped drinking and my depression lifted. So weird. I think what happened is … in my subconscious … "This is the doom you have been dreading and prepping for your whole adult life … let's do this." Life is not normal - I am working from home and homeschooling. For the purposes of isolation, we're counting my household, my SO's household (we do not live together due to real estate issues), his ex-wife's household, and my ex-husband's household as one household (5 adults in their 40s, 5 children 8-14, and a brand new baby belonging to my SO's ex-wife and her new husband). We made a deal that the kids don't go anywhere else or have play dates outside that bunch, nor is anyone coming to visit any of the 4 homes. This in itself is the strangest thing that has happened in 6 years since my divorce … this level of cooperation. We are even texting each other if someone goes out, so that the others don't have to expose themselves … it's unbelievable to all of us, I think … but we are doing it for our collective kids. Fortunately, 4 of the adults are able to work from home and my SO is a contractor who doesn't get near anyone all day. In my house we're vegetarian so we've had no problem with food as it seems like the meat is what's missing. I miss my sister and her family, and my mother. They all live together and we aren't visiting.
IDK. I'm thinking not. People in New York if they are woke and they can are getting the fuck out. Same with California.
This is not a Democrat/Republican thing. This is what this fear agenda has set in motion.
Your freedom to move about freely has been seriously compromised and it may likely get worse.
This is beyond food and toilet paper. There is a feeling of dread that looms over the collective.
