@suyak sends me a funny article:

(Warnings Ignored: A Timeline of Trump’s COVID-19 Response - The Bulwark
The Bulwark is a news network launched in 2018 dedicated to providing political analysis and reporting free from the constraints of partisan loyalties or tribal prejudices.

We start with the lie that Rear Admiral Timothy Ziemer was fired and the Directorate for Global Health Security and Biodefense was disbanded.

Ziemer resigned, and the duties of the directorate's duties were taken up by other existing bodies.
The process of redistributing the duties of the directorate, the response time to threats was streamlined.

(Dems Misconstrue Trump Budget Remarks
After President Trump said, "I don't know anything about" the disbanding of a White House pandemic response office, the Democrats claimed that he “lied” and pointed to Trump's earlier remarks about "…

Then we have a claim that Trump ignored warnings the sainted Intelligence Community (IC) gave Trump on January 19.

Sweeties, Trump had already order the screening of travelers from China.

On January 17.

He was AHEAD of the IC.

(Coronavirus Disease 2019
CDC public health news, press releases, government public health news, medical and disease news, story ideas, photos.

And on January 20, Trump asked 3M to double its production of M95 masks.

Minnesota-based company 3M has doubled its production of coronavirus-protecting N95 respirator masks over the last two months.

Then the funny timeline of Trump's "screwups" goes into 2020, conveniently overlooking the fact the Johns Hopkins rated the the US as the country most prepared for a pandemic.

(2019 study found US best-prepared country to handle a pandemic
The US was the best-prepared country in the world to respond to a pandemic, a report concluded in 2019.

The timeline that claims Trump botched his response shows that the CDC issue a travel advisory to Wuhan on January 6.

That's the earliest in the entire world.
Then we have an an official CDC health advisory for COVID-19 on January 8.

Earliest in the world.

Your face is burning, isn't it, @suyak?

That's why I'm doing this. To expose your sheeplike stupidity.
Next we have unsourced claims about Trump refusing to meet with HHS Secretary Alex Azar.

That's not possible, given that Trump had already spoken with the CDC about COVID-19.
The next series of claims highlight the failing of GOVERNORS to take steps to contain COVID-19.

It's the responsibility of the STATES to stockpile personal protect equipment (PPE) and respirators.

The federal government relies on GOVERNORS to know the needs of their states.
Nevada is a case in point.

Trump asked the FDA to allow the testing of malaria drugs as a treatment for COVID-19.

Democratic governor Steve Sisolak has BANNED the use and prescription of those drugs in his state, despite FDA approval.
The federal government can't force states to treat their sick people or have stocks of PPE and respirators.

That's not Trump's fault.

Next, the tests.
The CDC botched the first test for COVID-19.

Not Trump's fault.

In fact the first three tests worldwide for COVID-19 were useless.

The federal government can't order competency.

"Listen to the scientists!"

Well, scientists are often wrong.
Next, an op-ed to prevent an epidemic.

Epidemics of this extremely infectious disease CAN'T BE PREVENTED.

It causes epidemics wherever it appears.

The article says there was no dramatic ramp-up in production of PPEs. I already showed that this is a lie.
New York reports mask hoarding.

Not Trump's responsibility to stop it.

In fact he has no legal or statutory authority to stop it.

That was Cuomo's job.

AHA!
