Trying to find a new job. Trying to settle into to new residence. Dealing with an alcoholic ex-son in law, which is why I had to move otherwise my grandson would not be able to progress to the next grade since our liberal governor refuses to open things back up. Lost my job where I lived previously because I had a low grade fever, local health department refused to test, and my employer wouldn't allow me to return to work even with PPE nor would they pay me beyond PTO. Still have the low grade fever 5 weeks later due to chronic sinus issues. Tele-health would not prescribe antibiotics. The new residence is a whole other beast (70's trailer). Literally, one of two places available to rent at the time I relocated two weeks ago. It's a lot at the moment. I'm overwhelmed. I'm alone. I could really use some prayers if anyone is willing.
Prayers Sent. They're 'Counting the Omer' for 50 days which began April 12th (the first day after the Passover sabbath) so you now only have to hang on for about 6 weeks, until May 29th. Then we'll be out of here.
THANK YOU! Your prayers mean so much to me!
:float::u2efine:
This period we are in is like limbo. The structures of our society have fundamentally broken, but we are yet to feel the impacts in our day to day. Societies take months, sometimes years to collapse. It won't be the overnight decline into anarchy that many people want. But this is happening and it's past the point of no return now. It'll just take a few months to catch up to the 'now'.
So how you guys spending this weird period where everyone is continuing to act in the 'normal' but the economic inertia hasn't stopped yet? No judgement here, the government is paying some of us to get stoned and play video games all day, it's dope. But the steam is going to run out soon, I'd estimate we got about 4 months until it's approaching the anarchy territory most of you want. Til then, we living it up or what? Party at the end of the world, enjoy the top while it's still in.
Or is it time to lock and load? Is this valuable prep time that could be priceless later on. The rue of those who wasted it. Could these few weeks of relative stability be the difference between life and death for some people?
