[quote:BucketOfSunshine:MV80NDExNjEzXzgwMzAyOTQ4X0ZCMTYzQjgx] I have two. 4 very good pieces of advice that I have for you. 1. CORNSTARCH! a nurse told me about this. Buy bulk cornstarch. It's non toxic. Put it under baby's chin, all around the neck (use lots, pack it in there) put cornstarch behind knees, private areas front and back including the "crack area in back". Trust me. Milk gets under the chin on the neck and causes horrendous and painful rashes. Using cornstarch means your baby will never suffer from rashes..ever! My babies never had rashes because of this. Use generously. Its safe.. Don't use baby powder or butt paste or any stupid ointment or cream. Start using cornstarch after every bath and when you change a diaper, go ahead and wash the neck with a warm clean cloth, gently, apply cornstarch every time. 2. Simethicone, when your baby is crying non stop and you have done everything but the baby still seems like he or she is in pain, you can bet its GAS. Give simethcone OTC. 3. A life saver - glycerine suppositories. Constipation is the other reason babies cry non stop. If the suppository is too big, cut in hald width wise. You will relieve a ton of pain and unnecessary late nights with no sleep. Recap, cornstarch, simethicone, suppositories. TRUST ME [/quote]
