The tradition is to allow enemy soldiers to be buried on our soil and their graves marked, but not to honor them in any way. This includes the south. I dont think anyone is suggesting exhuming them either.

The problem is not the memorials so much as the attempt to [b]make treason seem honorable[/b] by placing statues or obelisks to honor them. This is just wrong, it's no different than putting a statue of Mao Se Dong in central park.
