[quote:Bastetcat:MV80NTAwOTA3Xzk1NjkzODIzXzMzQzk3RjY=] [quote:tiger1:MV80NTAwOTA3Xzk1NjkyMzA5XzY1MzY5NEVF] Prayers said for all. :grouphug: Three prayer requests, my friends ! My middle daughter Elizabeth(no jab), and her boyfriend(jabbed), seem to have come down with a bad case of covid, once again. My youngest is going to go by her house later with test kits. If Elizabeth is positive, she will not get sick pay once again, because she refused the jab. Her boyfriend lost his job last month. The company he was working for was a private railroad company contracted out to a big oil company. His company got bought out, and every employee lost their job, over 100 people. He needs to find another job. I have the neighbor from hell next door, who has moved, THANK GOD ! I have not posted about this before, but she is a total Karen who has harassed other neighbors besides me. Some were scared of her, as she truly is loony. I stood up to her, and didn't get as much grief as did some others in the neighborhood. She has abandoned her sweet cat.The poor thing has been sitting on her back porch just looking so sad the last few days. Her litter box and a bag of cat food are sitting there also, but the cat has no access to the bag, and there are no bowls of water for her. I have been giving her food and water for the past few days. I hope whoever moves in there will take of the cat.Just in case, my youngest daughter is actively looking for a good home for the cat. She has 2 old cranky cats and can't take another one in. Mary K has a cat with health problems, and between her cat and my 2 dogs, I can't take the cat in here. My Fox Terrier Jewel has kidney failure, diagnosed in December. She likes cats, but she is going down for me. Princess, my Boxer/Pit mix doesn't like cats at all, and just tolerates Mary K's cat. Prayers needed ! Here is Jewel ! :Jewel:
Praying for Elizabeth and her boyfriend for health! And for the poor cat for a new owner! And for Jewel to recover from the kidney failure!
Everyone who needs Prayer and Fellowship with others, please feel free to post your requests or questions. I will do my best to answer your requests, as will many other people who come to this thread.
I am not perfect, just a sometimes disobedient Child of God. I am Orthodox, having arrived at the Faith that has sustained me on this lifelong journey, for the Peace of my Soul.
I will be as fair as possible in my moderation of this thread, but I will not tolerate any off color or questionable posts. This thread has a purpose, a purpose to help one another through this journey on this rock, both Spiritually and in other aspects. You are NOT alone !
I have been a member of GLP for 13 years, lurking around for 2 years before I joined.I have been very open as to the trials my family and I have gone through. It has been Faith and Prayer that has gotten us through it all.
God Bless You All !!!
