[quote:Anonymous Coward 78296842:MV80NTE4MzY3XzgyMzMxODE5X0I0MzM0MjlC] I think most domestic animals will adapt to losing their sight. Don't move furniture around or leave things where they normally wouldn't be. Keep indoor doors always open if your cat likes to wander around the house like most cats do. Keep things calm and no loud or scary noise surprises that your cat won't know what it is, and freaks Hope your wee cat is ok, I'm sure it will be as he/she seems to have a concerned owner who loves it. Original Message
Two years ago we rescued a cat that had one eye. She has a detached retina in her good eye and the vet says she is not a candidate for surgery and is effectively blind.
Any helpful suggestions to help us accommodate to her situation will be gratefully appreciated.
We don't plan to have her 'put down'.
