That wasn't the DOJ that was the USPS trying to cover itself. That may have been a Postal Inspector but it's still the USPS. 
If that's what is being said there's a few people from the USPS that going to get hurt. Official intimidating a witness is a serious crime, but that's for a courtroom and a jury
