This crap is freaky and depressing... I been trying to help him, hoping he will recover, caught him yesterday when he started to fall and layed him down. heh. He might have a few more years in him yet though..... still waiting to see if he improves. It looks promising, but only time will tell. I believe he has Old Dog Vestibular Disease. Has all of the signs mentioned in the video below. I have been tending to him as recommended in this and other videos. He suffers at night while trying to sleep with harsh breathing, so I have been medicating him. Hoping his heart isn't bad. Still won't touch his dog food, but will eat other things I feed him, raw eggs, milk, medicated cheese, processed meat. and will go outside on his own reluctantly after some coaxing. Wags his tail a bit or tries. Takes water with some coaxing. He falls over on his side like a fainting goat, then can't stand back up sometimes for long periods of time mostly after exertion from running up a hill or climbing stairs. Here is the vid... that describes what is going on with him.
