I was at the VA this cloudy drizzly Wednesday morning. It was strangely quiet and lots of parking even over in the staff garage. When I entered veterans are always a bunch of questions about their potential COVID systems and a temperature check. This morning though I was only asked if I had any symptoms. It was like "Wow, that all!"
So, I said "no" and went on my way. I checked in and went to my appointment. Total ghost town. I asked what was going on and was told a lot of the VA staff called in sick and that they also had to cancel a lot of appointments today. It was eerie.
I guess a lot of people stayed home to watch the ignoration... but why. Nothing is going to happen. So either I am delusional and Joe Biden is that popular or people just feel they need to stay home and their is a miracle of sorts.
