Quoting: JAZZz50 what logically is causing the case # drops worldwide at the same time? Jazz Remember about this time last year there was this book that a woman wrote if I remember right back in the 1980's which was very prophetic. In it she described a mysterious virus that suddenly appears in Wuhan China. In it she goes on to describe how the virus suddenly appears, then just as fast it disappears only to return 20 years later anybody else remember this? It was that Cynthia.... blah... forgot her last name. I listed to her book at the beginning.... (I got that wrong too.... Sylvia Brown) I was unimpressed with her track record. And she said within a few months.... it’s been over 12. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 80075657 02/21/2021 11:32 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | So the question earlier about cases dropping.... Yes, testing probably needs to be reset.... Could mutations of SARS-CoV-2 suppress diagnostic detection? Less than 50% With this in mind, and as new variants of SARS-CoV-2 are identified, it is critical that diagnostic tests for the virus in wide use are regularly reconfigured. In particular, diagnostic tests configured to use a single monoclonal antibody, especially those targeting S protein, must revalidate the performance of the test against emerging strains of SARS-CoV-2 or consider adapting the assay to the detection of N protein using high-affinity polyclonal antibodies as critical detection reagents. That Yale study is pretty scary (Lyme does this too, so I know very well what a neurological infection does to the body.) The question is, can the antibodies that people make to the mRNA vaccine do the same thing? I would think the answer is yes. I think the drop in numbers is due to a combination of tests not picking up the variants, and a longer incubation period. Also, pandemics come in waves. We know this from looking at past pandemics. I suspect we're going to get walloped in the very near future. Looks like freedom but it feels like death. It's something in between I guess... it's closing time. Lenonard Cohen |
