Original Message It is a bit costly so it requires some government funding but we are already doing that for less environmental friendly systems .

It has few moving parts and after installation costs it pays itself off very quickly . The wind does not always blow and the sun does not always shine brightly but if the earth stops generating heat we won't need geothermal or any other source of power as a the world will be done .

It is time for it . Consider what we have done to the salmon runs and other desirable fish species in our rivers with what we thought would be cheap clean energy with hydro power plants.

How many billions of dollars have we spent trying to save dwindling fish stocks and other wildlife affected by our inability to look beyond today to see the damage coming in the future ?

The windmills and solar farms are just a different form of the same lack of insight .

I have faith that today humanity has a greater awareness of such things and can avoid repeating that mistakes again when it comes to long term solutions to our energy needs and our environmental desires and needs .
