They said my house is absentee homeownership. AND the only way they would construe that information is from the US Census. Holy Shit, if China has the US Census information we are fucked.
That's why I didn't fill ours out. Several 'reminder' letters and even some woman coming to the door to make sure we filled out the census. After seeing all of the political B.S. taking place over the past decade, I have zero interest in providing anyone with any additional information about me or any of my family members who may or may not be residing in my home. It's dreadful what information anyone can access now, and if someone wants that kind of information, they can easily get it now regardless of any census report. That said, we've been looking to purchase a new home and have seen multiple listings disappear overnight in the Wisconsin and Minnesota markets. Farm land being bought out at a frightening pace as well. We are basically seeing our local farms disappearing at an alarming rate, which I foresee will soon eliminate our local food supply of fresh meats and produce.
Me too. That's why they think that my property is Absentee Home Owner. That information was with the Census only.
It's happening in Canada too, in boring parts of Canada where nobody has been attracted to before. In New Brunswick we have a shortage of doctors because doctors don't want to come to New Brunswick to live, it's too boring for them, but suddenly houses are being bought up and apartment buildings too. A lot of people are saying they have to move because someone bought their building and told all of the tenants they have to move out for renovations to take place. We DO have a lot of farmland here so maybe they are buying that too. It's very creepy and I hope it's not China.
The company I investigated was off shore Mauritania. So could be China, could be the Arabs.
Mauritania is a increasingly popular hedge fund base for Russian, African, and Chinese money.
So I just got a call where the guy was asking if I'd be open to selling my house. Guy said he was from a "real estate investment group".
Pretty odd if you ask me. I told him I'd sell for $1,000,000.00. The weird part was he didn't flinch he just wanted to confirm the address. I wouldn't confirm my address so he said thanks and hung up.
I googled the number and a bunch of Chinese writing showed up.
What's really going on?
