[quote:Jeff_43:MV80NzQzNDY0Xzg2NDIxNzIzX0Y0RkVCMEIz] [quote:Corporal Punishment:MV80NzQzNDY0Xzg2NDIxNTAyX0IyNEIzNkM5] This doesn’t make me feel better about using Door Dash. But if people saw the kinds of folks who work in restaurants they’d be shocked. If they saw what goes on in restaurant kitchens and what goes on in food factories they’d never eat anything but whole foods they grew themselves ever again. [/quote] That is so true, and it is not something that started recently but it does seem to have gotten worse. Back in the late 80s when I worked delivering pizzas I saw how sick some people were. The waitress' and cooks had a code they would put on the tickets for "problem" customers to receive the "special" toppings. Mostly it was pepperoni that had been dropped in the floor or something that was bad but nothing extreme. The only real bad ones were what was put on pizzas that were for police officers. They got stuff that would make you sick to think about and sometimes a bit of what was left in the bottom of the cooks pot baggie in hopes of making the cop fail any drug test he had to take. I learned back then if I do go out to eat to make sure I am always nice to the staff, tip good, never complain, never go with people with bratty children, never ever send food back for any reason and most of all never go with anyone who is a police officer. There's a still shot from the vid at the link.
I don't know if the vid is posted anywhere, and I ain't gonna look for it.
When the guy was walking up to our porch, we saw that he was holding the pizza veritically, so from there I knew for a fact that the pizza was outside of the box," King said.
King and his wife happened to be watching their front porch camera at the time. They saw the guy pull their pizza out of the bag and drop it.
"So afterward he looked at the pizza and went to scoop it up, put back in the box and make it look as pretty as he could," King said. "He picked up all the crubs and everything and walked off."
