Very vague impression they were angry about merchants in their neighborhoods? Suddenly the media is all over it,but it's fake news about white people anti Asian. How did it begin back in the day?
After Vietnam a lot of them came here and opened up businesses in the ghetto. They lived like paupers, but they practiced something that many whites have forgotten and most blacks have never known. DEFERRED GRATIFICATION They saved every penny, lived as frugally as humanly possible, and within ONE GENERATION, they were buying McMansions and putting their kids through college. The GREEN EYED MONSTER raised its ugly head. It is JEALOUSY and ENVY on the part of the blacks. They think somebody GAVE the Asians something. The REVERSE is true. The blacks could FAR outdo the Asians with the welfare, the EBT cards, the section 8 housing, if they would just learn... SELF-SACRIFICE and DEFERRED GRATIFICATION. No smokes, no booze, no whores, no lottery tickets, no dope... Just SAVE, SAVE, SAVE. I did it, everyone in my family did it, because we were TAUGHT TO PRACTICE IT, from childhood (1950s) onward, and we are ALL very financially comfortable right now. You can STILL do it, in this shitty economy, But FEW blacks will. They are (as a race) emotionally immature, and like all kids and juveniles THEY WANT IT, AND THEY WANT IT NOW!!!!
Growing up in the Lower East side of Manhattan, I befriended many asians. What you say is true, The shops they run are operated by multigenerations working long hrs. When I visit the library in the area, its full of chinese kids and very few blacks. They are willing to sacrifice for education knowing its the way to a better life. I know more than a few families that have kids attending MIT and other prestigious schools on full schlorships in 1 generation. The liberal narrative now is to downplay the "model minority" aspect.....BUT it is the truth... Case in point is during Bloomberg's NYC, Blacks complained asians hired tutors to prepare their kids to take the entrance exams for elite high school and that was unfair for blacks....they wanted the entrance exams removed. To Bloomberg's credit, he backed the exams cuz they are open to all therefore inclusive. He started a city run program for FREE tutoring to help....Guess what? most attending the tutoring program was asians. The number of Blacks students attending was minuscule. The resources are there, but you still have to put in the work. This BS is continuing in entrance to Ivy league schools and California is doing away with SAT testing.....they are using CRT as an excuse now. Everything systemic is racist ya know...
