[quote:Doctor Congo:MV80ODAwMzg2Xzg3NTYwMzczXzdDNjJDNzYy] Uh Oh. Shit is hitting the fan about this. Whitehouse attacks Homeland Security. From just one hour ago: https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/white-house-rebuffs-dhs-secretary-s-comments-on-possible-vaccine-passport/ar-AAKu9Wq The White House tamped down speculation surrounding vaccine passports Friday, reiterating past opposition to a federal mandate requiring Americans obtain one. "We haven't moved on our stance on this," principal deputy press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre stated while gaggling with reporters on Air Force One. "There will be no federal vaccination database and no federal mandate requiring everyone to obtain a single vaccination credential. " The question was prompted by comments Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas made earlier in the day about how the administration is considering vaccine passport candidates for future international travel. --------------------------- Whitehouse says one thing. Homeland security says another. Apparently they are getting their talking points from different people in the CCP. [/quote]

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said Friday that the Biden Administration is 'looking closely' at requiring international travelers to have a vaccine passport if they want to travel in and out of the country.
Mayorkas made the comment as 2.5 million Americans prepare to fly for Memorial Day Weekend, and after the White House provided repeated assurances the administration will not impose such a system.
'You know, one of our principles that has guided us throughout this pandemic is the value of diversity, equity and inclusion and making sure that any passport that we provide for vaccinations is accessible to all and that no one is disenfranchised,' he responded.
