Oh, you whippersnappers!
My prime was in the 90s, so I have an affinity for that time. With that said, I think it was the peak of human civilization. We had the greatest technology and culture before the Internet degraded and ruined everything. I can see making a case for earlier time periods being better, but I don't see anything beating the 1990s. If you do, please explain.
lol ok i'll take ya up on that.. my prime was the 80's, and this song '80's ladies' explains it better than I can.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aWqNzbPsD2o
Quoting that song: We were the girls of the 50's. Stoned rock and rollers in the 60's. And more than our names got changed As the 70's slipped on by. Now we're 80's ladies. The women described in that song were in their teens in the 60s. I was in my teens to my mid-20s in the 90s, and I'm calling that my prime. Those women were in their thirties to fourties in the 80s, and you're saying that was their prime. I am not saying you are wrong, but we aren't speaking the same language here.
ahhh ok, i see what you're saying.. following along with the lady singing the song.. for example.. i was born mid 50's.. a girl of the 50's. so in the 60's, i wasn't exactly a stoned rock and roller, altho maybe some others were. O.o but during the 70s, i graduated high school, and (women's lib, burned my bra lol) as a female joined the military during vietnam war, then later on got married (changed my name).. and in the mid 80's was 30 with three tiny sons.. and by that time, was in my prime, as she was in hers. i suppose we could be looking at 'our prime' as different points in life. lol
Women like this used to be everywhere in the 90s in America. I took it for granted, and these types are extinct now.
