If you believe the Bible is the word of GOD, you're an idiot.
False gods, evil spirits speaking to the priests claiming to be gods. How you know they are evil is because they encourage their followers to go to war for stupid reasons and make up reasons to feel insulted and need to be avenged by having the people go to war. By their fruits you shall know them.
There has been something for everyone in the Bible, for the false followers, prophets, even satanists ... God does not discriminates against stupid.
Bible-god is not the real God. Bible-god enables and encourages his followers to commit evil acts. Bible-god is a false god, an evil spirit.
It's not so much that the Bible-god is not the real God, but rather it is that pure original spiritual teachings have been sprinkled with human biases through misinterpretation, misunderstanding, and ill-intent. Any teaching that encourages us to become more kind, benevolent, compassionate, forgiving, and respectful to each other is a good thing. Such teachings help us to slowly move away from the strong grip of the ego mind which some call the survival mind or the mind of lack, and transition to our hidden true nature that is unconditional love, compassion, benevolence, and joy. Blessed with free will, we get to choose what we want to believe. And at our current state of low consciousness, rarely is the better choice the easy choice. No judgement though, because this is all part of the long journey of us exploring, experiencing, learning, and growing up to higher spiritual maturity and wisdom, towards becoming evolving humans more able to live with each other in peace and harmony despite having different perspectives and beliefs.
Good post. The troublesome historic reality is that most mainstream abrahamic versions of 'religion' were started, spread and brutally maintained via brutal violence, subjugation, fear and government mandate. For any fully sentient person, those are some massive stumbling stones to try to dance around to get to kindness, benevolence, compassion or forgiveness. The Bible narrative of the viscous OT god suddenly turning into a romanized hipster zombie martyr whose blood and flesh we must consume at regular intervals doesn't quite meet the minimum standards for 'truth' either. But to each their own as long as we are still given the voluntary choice and one's chosen belief system doesn't infringe on the Natural Rights of another. :hf:
