[quote:Anonymous Coward 77762297:MV80ODk4ODgwXzg5NzA2NzYxX0IzN0JCNzlE] [quote:Anonymous Coward 73760995:MV80ODk4ODgwXzg5NzA2NTM1X0NBRTU1M0FG] I have horses, that label has been there forever. Yes they ship loads of horses in packed trailers to Mexico and Canada for slaughtering. It's pretty sick. It's the manner they are treated that offends me.
I’ve never heard of this before! How do they treat the horses?
Original Message
I went to my local Tractor Supply to get some. Luckily I was able to get four boxes of Durvet brand — not sure if these stores are still selling them.
So I decided to read the small print on the side and back of the box. One of the last statements on the back caught my attention:
WARNING: Do not use in horses intended for human consumption.
Do people actually raise and butcher horses like they do cattle? (It's supposed to be illegal in the United States.)
Seriously?
Yuck!
