[quote:Anonymous Coward 79371116:MV80ODk4ODgwXzg5NzA3NDQ4XzQyNkJCNDg3] “ Do people actually raise and butcher horses like they do cattle? (It's supposed to be illegal in the United States.) Seriously?” We used to ship horses to Europe & they slaughtered them for their human consumption. The USA MAY have a Federal law to prevent that . . but I am not sure about it !!! [/quote]

I went to my local Tractor Supply to get some. Luckily I was able to get four boxes of Durvet brand — not sure if these stores are still selling them.
So I decided to read the small print on the side and back of the box. One of the last statements on the back caught my attention:
WARNING: Do not use in horses intended for human consumption.
Do people actually raise and butcher horses like they do cattle? (It's supposed to be illegal in the United States.)
Seriously?
Yuck!
