I figured I'd avail myself of the breadth of knowledge and experiences of the worldwide people here on GLP.
A little over a month ago, Suunto introduced their new Core Alpha Stealth model. From what I can see, what it offers over the standard Core:
o Made in the parent company of Finland, rather than in China
o Has the night viewing mode in red
o Supposedly made to a stronger set of standards
o Has a cloth strap, also made to higher standards
The thing is, the Alpha Stealth costs twice as much a Black Core and then upgrading with a Zulu strap.
So, is it really worth it?
