[quote:The Oracle's Cookie:MV80OTA2NjY3Xzg5NjU3NjYyXzI0NjA3Q0Q5] I've mentioned the "wild card" influence on volcanic eruptions from the sun in threads that I have hosted in the past...There is some really good information on the thread from GLP's "Adragon" concerning all the info we could find about the solar micro-nova: https://www.godlikeproductions.com/forum1/message3948028/pg1 Ben Davidson from "SuspiciousObservers" channel has done his own "catastrophe series" dealing with repurcussions from solar activity/solar micro-nova as well--I think his is a 20-episode project you can find at his channel (dot org, not dot com.) I was hoping Ben would weigh-in on the La Palma volcano but so far he hasn't mentioned it. He did mention in his space weather daily report today (9-14-2021) that he is predicting that a solar corona-hole wind would MERGE with an unspecified strength CME the night of the 16th or on the 17th (Thursday and Friday)...which could trigger the volcano to become more active. We'll want to be watching for that, for sure. Anyways, like I mention before...BE WATCHING THE SUN for its "acting-up" as the sun can increase volcanos, storms and quakes. That solar thread is a good one to check daily. Here's that link: https://www.godlikeproductions.com/forum1/message1382952/pg1 The latest post on the solar thread: [quote:Anonymous Coward 80322237:MV8xMzgyOTUyXzg5NjUzODI0X0NGN0E0MDIx] [quote:Simple27:MV8xMzgyOTUyXzg5NjUzNDQ2XzdFMzQ3RkVG] POSSIBLE EARTH-DIRECTED CME: During the early hours of Sept. 13th (~0200 UT), a dark filament of magnetism on the sun exploded. The blast hurled a CME into space, and maybe toward Earth. Initial modeling by NOAA suggests a near miss (or glancing blow) on Sept. 16-17. The fact that the CME overlaps at least two other CMEs makes unraveling its trajectory tricky. Stay tuned for additional analysis. Cumbre Vieja volcano or Cumbre Vieja volcanic ridge is area on La Palma Island (Canary Islands) .Potential eq swarm and eruption could trigger landslide causing widespread tsunami on Atlantic Ocean!
Update 16 th September
Deformation up to 10 cm is reported .Quakes are increasing in size and amount again.Looks like harmonic tremor is happening!
Update late 17 th September Polish Time
We are in phase of low frequency microtremors/microquakes like yesterday
Update:
People felt the eruption coming
Neighbors of La Palma "felt a noise for days". Luis Alberto Rodríguez García is Head of Engineering Operations at the Gran Telescopio Canario, in the Roque de los Muchachos de La Palma. He tells us that for days he had sounded like a vibration in his ear. And what has happened to more people. Today he is at home watching the lava run down the hillside and across the roads.
