There is separation. To recognize the Kingdom within yourself, means to be one with God. To commune with him through your heart... recognizing and reflecting on the beauty of all creation. [/quote] Yes, love and honor God. Not fear and worship God. The Bible has some wonderful teachings to guide humanity to evolve spiritually to greater wisdom and maturity. But it would be very overly optimistic to believe the Bible is immune to human biases through misunderstanding, misinterpretation, and ill intent. The caring and benevolent God is pure unconditional love. In unconditional love there will always be unity, inclusion, and equality. Never separation, exclusion, and superiority. Why then would the Bible contain words such as "King of Kings", "Lord", "Master", "Servant", "Obey", "Worship", "Judgement", "Punishment", "Heaven", and "Hell". All those words seem to be describing what we do here while still in low wisdom and maturity. Human biases. We can not know what we don't know yet, and so we explain what we don't know with what we only know at that moment. We made "Heaven" to be dysfunctional just like what we have here by believing there was a war in "Heaven" and the "Fallen Angels" are the evil entities that rule the Earth. And that there are Archangels who rank the highest of all angels. We are all expressions of God for an amazing adventure while in human form on this side of the Veil of Forgetfulness to grow up from spiritual immaturity to greater maturity and wisdom that will eventually lead to uncovering who we truly are. And when that happens, we begin to gradually shed our false nature that is the ego, and begin to return to our true nature of unconditional love, compassion, benevolence, and joy. It is a long challenging process that spans many lifetimes of maturing through free will exploring, experiencing (both good and bad), and learning that ultimately will assist with bringing love and light to this young dark barbaric world. In unconditional love, we will always do what is best for others. Not because we have to, but because we innately want to out of love and passion to see everyone and everything do well. Equality and compassion. Rethink about wishing harm to those with different religious beliefs or perspectives than our own to suffer for eternity in some demonic place call Hell. Peace and harmony on Earth will not happen when one exclusive group believes it is better and more superior than all others. God's messages will always be uniting, uplifting, and empowering to inspire us all to seek greater spiritual knowledge and grow up to greater wisdom and maturity. Careful of any spiritual teachings that put fear in us, belittle us, separate us, or make us more confused. Those are not the teachings from God, but rather they are teachings from men. Is that what you want? to be separate from God .. . For purposes of this thread, assume that God is the Eternal One, the Creator of all... the one Source.
Who wants to be separate from God? When you worship, you are separating yourself from God, by placing "him" in a place higher than yourself. You place a distance between you and "him."
While this applies to any and all religions, I'll focus on the book I am most familiar with.... and in that book, Yahshua says do not look for the Kingdom outside of yourself, for you can find it only within.
And in that book, does Yahshua ever say to worship either the Father or Himself? No.
