[quote:danielbarzohar:MV80OTMxNDUyXzkxODU3NDAwX0M4MUQ1MUNE] Shachah is the original word in the Tanach for Worship. Strong's #7812: shachah (pronounced shaw-khaw') a primitive root; to depress, i.e. prostrate (especially reflexive, in homage to royalty or God):--bow (self) down, crouch, fall down (flat), humbly beseech, do (make) obeisance, do reverence, make to stoop, worship. Some people are too focused on the physical effects of true worship. True worship is a spiritual thing that is an act of consciousness by going within your heart to connect to "a primitive root" of source energy; and then following your path with this connection to your root. Bowing, stooping, and etc. are physical things that people may or may not do as they "Humbly beseech" or seek that inner spark within each of us that gives us life. Not all have the same physical outpouring of true worship. For example, King David danced naked as he worshiped the Creator. The dance was his expression of what was going on in his inner most being as he connected to the root of Creator's source energy within himself. The OP has correctly pointed out that the Kingdom of Heaven is found within and not in the physical realm. It is found by going within to find inner truth from your source energy that comes directly from the Creator instead of trying to find truth in the world of lies of our current reality. The physical world is a mere illusion that is soon to dissolve as the real world is unveiled. Time is short.
Is that what you want? to be separate from God .. . For purposes of this thread, assume that God is the Eternal One, the Creator of all... the one Source.
Who wants to be separate from God? When you worship, you are separating yourself from God, by placing "him" in a place higher than yourself. You place a distance between you and "him."
While this applies to any and all religions, I'll focus on the book I am most familiar with.... and in that book, Yahshua says do not look for the Kingdom outside of yourself, for you can find it only within.
And in that book, does Yahshua ever say to worship either the Father or Himself? No.
