Mine is going through the same things. She had long beautiful hair pre Covid. Post Covid, coming out in clumps etc. the volume of hair she has lost is amazing, almost as bad as my moms chemo loss a year ago. Biotin, vitamin b12 and even rogain all help! Everything we have heard it is temporary and will grow back.
You all are saying you "had Covid"--but how do you know? They have never isolated it. You had something, but not the fake "covid".
Using "the flu variant that can make you lose your sense of smell and cause your hair to potentially fall out" every time we want to refer to the cause is tedious and tiresome. We use "Covid" as a label. How do we know? We lost our sense of smell for a month and even after 4 months now, it's only at about 80% of what it used to be. Loss of smell is a primary, 100% indicator that you've had "Covid" (or whatever you want to name the flu strain)
But how do you know it was "covid"? Did you have a fake test? I am sorry for your wife's dilemma, but I don 't think you can blame a fake virus.
I had no idea that one of the after effects of COVID was that your hair would fall out. Damned if mine didn't start about a month ago, which is about three months after I went through an awful episode of the "C" word. (That damn word makes me so mad I even hate saying it.) It has disrupted our lives in so many ways, and now my gorgeous hair has thinned out to the point I have a bald spot on top and I had to cut it all the way up to my shoulders yesterday.
I hate COVID
Has anyone else experienced hair loss after going tthrough COVID?
