Here it is : 25 And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? 26 He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou? 27 And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself. 28 And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live. If you "love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself" then you are on the path to Jesus. Not to Mohammed, or Buddha, or Scientology, or Urantia. It's simple.
I assumed that those interested in the topic are familiar enough with the story that I didn't need to copy/paste the 4 verses word for word. That said, again ...... he did not say that to love God (Father) with all your heart would lead you to Himself (Jesus). He didn't say that.
Luke 10:25-28
When asked by the lawyer how to attain eternal life, Jesus let him answer his own question which was written in the Law.
Jesus then confirmed his answer by saying "do this and you will live."
Nothing was said about the need to accept his sacrificial death... nothing was said about a cross.... nothing was said that you must believe in Himself.
Was he confused? or did he lie?

This is for discussion purposes only.... I'm not seeking arguments from anyone here that will bring in other scripture, allegories, being accused of taking Jesus' statement out of context. I'm just hoping someone might go "hmmmmmmmmmm"
