[quote:Sister of THE Revolution:MV80OTkzMDQ1XzkxMzcwMzYxX0YzRTBEQjU0] [quote:Anonymous Coward 72770631:MV80OTkzMDQ1XzkxMzY3MjQ2X0ZFQzc1NzRC] [quote:Anonymous Coward 81013347:MV80OTkzMDQ1XzkxMzY0NDcyX0M0QkYxM0NE] bullmastiffs aren't a problem, why bring them into this?
Exactly....Mastiffs are gentle giants....I own one.
Because this thread is NOT about knowledge… it’s just their bad experience being spewed out… i’ve had good experiences and bad experiences with pit-bull’s and all kinds of dogs but I don’t blame the whole breed…I blame the dog and the individual owners. Just like people whatever life experience they have had has taught them how they want to react. People and dogs reactions are as unique as an individual with anything else. I have a really bad Chihuahua right now, he likes to bite and I know it so I keep on after him I don’t bring him around children and I don’t take him out in public. But he’s a mean little guy, I put him away in the crate when we have company because I have tried training. It depends on the people for him and he don’t care what I do. I almost put him down but I have just adapted for him a bit and it works but I feel like I’m fairly responsible about it…But I tell you I’ve seen some of the best Chihuahuas also I lived with one when I was a kid that was one of the best. I take care of my friends pitbull’s right now (have since she got them as pups) when she goes out of town one of hers is aging and he has only gotten kinder and sweeter and more gentle as He has aged.. And maybe certain DNA is more aggressive.? Maybe the Chihuahua I have his mom was aggressive and I know that because I know his mom so maybe he’s in that DNA line?! But to Eradicate anything?! I have taken care of dogs in kennels and been around dogs my whole life all types of dogs. I had a veterinarian tell me one time that I should’ve been a surgeon! I guess…I missed my calling. My heart has always been with the animals! I’ll cry for days when I see an injured animal or certain documentaries like the one about Virunga National Park.. it’s affected my soul. What is happening our animals?! They need is love. Love compassion and responsibility. As in yes if they need to put down, if you see there’s a danger they need to be put down. Period. Buuuut ERADICATION?! Because of DNA?! WTF?! I dunno what these guys are on. Shoot. Long rabbit trail!! I’ve never once met, not one Bull Mastif that was ever ever ever not the sweetest most kind and gentle dogs! So that guy clearly just had a bad experience with a bull mastiff…
