[quote:GSB/LTD:MV81MDEyMDcwXzkxNzY4MDg5XzRCQTU2RkYw] [quote:Anonymous Coward 81088587:MV81MDEyMDcwX0Y5QjI3ODE5] I'm thinking about buying a fancy, all wood Ouija Board and hanging it on my wall. Just for the swanky antique look & feel of it. For the Christians who object and believe this stuff is real (which it might be, dunno): if I don't use it, nothing bad can happen, right? I mean, what's the worst that can happen? It falls off and I have to re-pin it. If you object, state why. Thanks!
Here's a true story for you to think about: That's exactly what I did with a board that had a malevolent spirit. The board itself was all wood and dated to the 1920's; it was found in the attic of an old house where it had sat unused for decades. Once the spirit was contacted it started out as a sweet little girl who claimed she had died of Diphtheria. But she quickly changed her tune and became a mean, foul-mouthed entity who resented being left alone all those years. I warned it that I would either burn the board or seal it up forever. She persisted so that's exactly what I did. I found a sturdy old frame that fit it and sealed it inside with several sprigs of Eucalyptus as a purifier. From there it ended up hanging on my wall for several years where I largely ignored it. Then one day as I was dusting the frame I noticed a little change to the board itself. All around the edges of the printed surface was a ring of what looked like scorch marks as if it had smouldered but didn't catch fire. I took it down and for the past 12 years it's been in the back of the closet where I keep my Christmas decorations. If that hateful little Bitch is still hanging around I figured all those happy ornaments would only make her more miserable. Again: that's a TRUE story! BTW: it did look great hanging on the wall, though!!
