The rest is brainwash. They dont even teach in churches that the whole bible isnt meant to be interpreted literally. There is even one verse stating it. Its a parable, otherwise wisdom and knowledge wouldnt be able to be transmitted onto the people. The council of nicea and what not made the bible into what it is now, along with countless translations and revisionists editting it to fit the linguistical evolution. Salvation wont come neither from praying, nor from putting the so called armor of God on. Meditation is the only solution. Old wine has to be discared and new wine has to be put into you. Make whatever you want out of it. You have given your keys away... Now guess what the actual meaning of a key is..
The key is turning from sin and living a righteous life. Followers should look completely differently then the unbelievers. As does the Kingdom that’s coming to earth, it won’t look anything like what we see today. Back to the garden is what New Jerusalem will be. To the city gates His children will go!
A Kingdom That Cannot Be Shaken 18 For you have not come to what may be touched, a blazing fire and darkness and gloom and a tempest 19 and the sound of a trumpet and a voice whose words made the hearers beg that no further messages be spoken to them. 20 For they could not endure the order that was given, “If even a beast touches the mountain, it shall be stoned.” 21 Indeed, so terrifying was the sight that Moses said, “I tremble with fear.” 22 But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to innumerable angels in festal gathering, 23 and to the assembly of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, and to God, the judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, 24 and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel. His children are already coming into the gates of His city, His kingdom. God bless
Given the gravity of misunderstanding Romans 13, this video is well worth the 7 minutes (or 3.5 minutes on 2X speed) of your time.
For those of you who insist on a synopsis for every video, you will not be disappointed by watching. He'll explain why the powers given to government are not universal, and that they have clear limits as defined in the Scriptures.
It is not always a sin to defy or disobey government. Romans 13 is not the only passage in the Bible -- there are thousands and thousands of other passages one must consider when forming their worldviews.
