You? God appointed the government, not you. The truth is not in the Bible No one has any authority over another God is a meme being used to establish tyranny all governments are tyrannical go disobey any law in any government at any time in history and see what happens tyranny happens because the state has a monopoly on force and you are not even allowed to resist even for failure to appear or failure to pay SO WILL YOU CHRISTIANS PLEASE SHUT THE HELL UP YOUR RELIGION IS TYRANNY AND ALWAYS HAS BEEN
You have a fundamental misunderstanding of Christianity and the verses in the OP video. For example, see how government is identified in Romans 13:3. See the conditions that determine it in that verse. If I call myself "government", does that make me so? Can anyone just call themselves "government" and it is so, like how some leftists lie and say they are a woman when they are not? See 1 Samuel 8. You will see how the people don't want God and want tyranny, but God warns them against it, but the people still rather have a tyranny rather than trust in God. The reality is opposite of your claim. The more a people trusts in God, the more free they are. The less they trust in God, they more they beg for tyranny. This "covid" scamdemic has brought this into light! You see Christian ommunities that trust in God living freely while the Godless worship tyrants. "Man will ultimately be governed by God or by tyrants." - Benjamin Franklin
Christians love to play this game where you just don't understand what the Bible says of course objectively reading it is not good enough they even say you have to be in some holy spirit type of mind to understand it - and what this means you must be possessed by some other thing to read god's word so that means the all powerful god has trouble talking to his creation, god just can't communicate properly another game preachers play is cherry picking the verses "we'll just skip over all this blood and gore and read some stuff people like to hear" Psalms 136-140: Bash babies' heads against rocks for god! no sorry Christian, Romans 13 says what Romans 13 says: Romans 13 Submission to Authorities 1Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which is from God. The authorities that exist have been appointed by God. 2Consequently, whoever resists authority is opposing what God has set in place, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. 3For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Do you want to be unafraid of the one in authority? Then do what is right, and you will have his approval. 4For he is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not carry the sword in vain. He is God’s servant, an agent of retribution to the wrongdoer. 5Therefore it is necessary to submit to authority, not only to avoid punishment, but also as a matter of conscience. 6This is also why you pay taxes. For the authorities are God’s servants, who devote themselves to their work. 7Pay everyone what you owe him: taxes to whom taxes are due, revenue to whom revenue is due, respect to whom respect is due, honor to whom honor is due." -------------- It should be obvious the government wrote Romans 13 not some god The government wants you to be submissive and pay taxes that is exactly what a slave is taught and this verse: "For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad." God appointed bad people who terrorize you that is what this damned book says read it and weep Christian, you are a hopelessly duped slave
Given the gravity of misunderstanding Romans 13, this video is well worth the 7 minutes (or 3.5 minutes on 2X speed) of your time.
For those of you who insist on a synopsis for every video, you will not be disappointed by watching. He'll explain why the powers given to government are not universal, and that they have clear limits as defined in the Scriptures.
It is not always a sin to defy or disobey government. Romans 13 is not the only passage in the Bible -- there are thousands and thousands of other passages one must consider when forming their worldviews.
