Free cat food ;)
I had to set traps the other day. When I was checking out at the store the cashier looked down at the cat food, and the mouse traps and said, "There's something wrong with this picture." I caught 2 mice over the course of three nights (that was all there were) and I opened the traps and dropped the dead mice in front of our fattest lazy cat, and he shook them around like he had caught them himself, growled, then...down the hatch. I don't feel like I should have to do that.
My cats food went up 5 dollars OVERNIGHT. I decided to stock up as much as I could. I couldn't do it fast enough. Tomorrow, another run, and in one place I resorted to buying a different food.
I'm actually scared. This is insane. I feed four cats, and three are only 4 years old.
