[quote:A Ghost From Another Time:MV81MTI3NzE0Xzk0MDkxMzM4XzIwMDYzMTI2] [quote:Anonymous Coward 79396793:MV81MTI3NzE0Xzk0MDkxMTk3XzQ5RDIxMDUz] Even nature agrees sometimes abortion has a time and place. A miscarriage can happen at any stage. In an ideal world, such things would never happen but we are not in an ideal world. And why do we care about the unborn yet can barely give two sh!tz about the already born? Where were all the bleeding hearts for dead Iraqi children and Pregnant women? Or the countless other children, infants and pregnant women that have paid the price of our wars?
A miscarriage is not the same as an abortion. Yes, it can and does happen at any stage but it is not the same. I agree, we are far from being in an ideal world. We should care about our fellow humans if we're going to make this world a little more ideal. It doesn't matter if they are inside or outside the womb - it is a human life and we should care. Yes, including the already born. I opposed the globalist policies that sanctioned and starved the Iraqi people including hundreds of thousands of children and innocent civilians in the 90's as well as the false pretenses that lead to the 2nd Gulf War. I am as antiwar as anyone - war is the worst thing humans can do to each other. It should only be a last resort and it must be justified and not based on lies.
Everyone has a right to choose what to do or not do to their body right?
Well what about the baby's body?
Are you saying "That's not a baby" or "It's not alive" or even "It's not a human"?
But at 6 weeks, it has a beating heart. It is therefore a living being. A human being.
So does it not have a right to live? Someone else can decide if it lives or dies?
What gives someone else the right to decide that? No one has the right to decide life or death over any other human.
What makes it different when it concerns a baby? The most vulnerable humans who cannot defend themselves and have no voice.
Are you saying the baby is not a "human"? So no human rights in this case?
