[quote:pish:MV81MTM2OTQ4Xzk1NjMxOTM1X0FCN0Q5RjY0] [quote:BBQ BOY™:MV81MTM2OTQ4Xzk1NjI5NDMzX0IyMTJBODVE] [quote:Lady Jane Smith:MV81MTM2OTQ4Xzk1NjI5MTE0XzE4OEI5RDk3] [quote:pish:MV81MTM2OTQ4Xzk1NjE3ODI4XzkyQkVCNDEz] We had our first case yesterday. Not the typical demographic…elderly from a care facility…which means it’s probably going to spread all over these homes since the care is notoriously bad.
The obvious lead on question to that is how did Granny get exposed? How many other Grannies were exposed the same way? A commercial laundry service that has contracts with multiple nursing homes/hospitals will be a nightmare scenario.
I read somewhere in the thread that 1/5th of the cases are among Health care workers.
Yea they have us guidelines since we have a patient, but it’s nothing like Covid…just gown, gloves, N95. Wipe down room with bleach or sani wipe after. We have a HEPA filter in our room that circulates the air in 15 min. I’m just worried about random ER goers when it starts to spread, and you have no idea they are infected(and they don’t either).
