I remember that phrase back in the 80s when I was growing up. I remember the girls in my elementary school saying that with such glee in their voices. They said it because it was true. I remember thinking, "Yeah. You win." It was just a fact.
I just did a little research to see if that phrase is still common among children today. It is apparently. I found this video and several things like it in a quick search. I wonder how far back it goes.
