[quote:Vafþrúðnir:MV81MjM1ODY2Xzk5NDcyNjA5XzlFNTBDNjRB] [quote:Anonymous Coward 29285152:MV81MjM1ODY2Xzk5NDcyNTYzXzJBOTkzNjhC] The UN has recognized the shooting of Russian prisoners of war by Ukrainian soldiers and their other actions as a war crime. This was reported by the organization. "The commission recognizes as a war crime the incident when Russian prisoners of war were shot," the organization said on its official website. It added that facts of torture and wounding of Russian prisoners of war also belong to war crimes. ------------- The Russian Armed Forces eliminated Ukrainian fighters from the 80th AFU Brigade who executed Russian POWs in Makeyevka. This happened during an assault near Krasny Liman. "Part of the squad that executed our prisoners of war fighters in Makiivka was destroyed. The rest of the fighters were liquidated during the attack," the Russkaya Vesna portal reported. It is specified that the motorized riflemen of the "O" group took the enemy positions by storm. A wounded Ukrainian fighter got to them. He was assisted, but died on the way to the hospital. Last fall, a video emerged on the network showing the AFU military executing at least 11 Russian prisoners of war. LNR officer Andrei Marochko confirmed that the execution was carried out by fighters from the 80th AFU brigade. The Russian Investigative Committee opened a criminal case over the killing and cruel treatment of POWs. The UN recognized the authenticity of the video footage of the shooting. ura*news GLP does not allow links to this site
Don't start none wouldn't be none.
To be honest, I know squat all about the battle. I see the larger global implications but the day to day wins and loses for both sides 'meh' above my non paygrade. SO carry on. I can't ban AC's because that would ban them in total from other threads. And I have no personal bans. So, for the great posters there...carry on, or better yet, start another.
