[quote:Anonymous Coward 80552718:MV81MjM1ODY2XzEwMDYyMDIxMV82MEY5NThDMA==] [quote:Anonymous Coward 80552718:MV81MjM1ODY2XzEwMDYyMDE5MV9BQTY2NkM5MQ==] The Russian State Duma unanimously decided to ban the transit of Polish trucks through our country. It should be recalled that such an initiative was recently voiced by Vyacheslav Volodin, the Chairman of the State Duma. And this initiative was a response to anti-Russian steps of the Polish leadership. Now, based on this decision, Polish companies engaged in cross-border transport of goods will be required to transship the contents of the Polish trucks in Russian trucks that will continue to travel to the addressee. If a truck with Polish license plates is on the territory of Russia (for example, without cargo), then, according to the new regulations, it cannot be refueled at domestic Russian prices. A special duty is set for such vehicles, which will eventually raise fuel prices for them at Russian gas stations to the level of the EU average. To give you a clear example, today the price of 1 liter of diesel at gas stations in Poland is on average 1.38 euros (6.2 Polish zlotys). At the current exchange rate of the Central Bank of Russia, this is about 120 rubles. Vyacheslav Volodin: The leadership of Poland must answer for the demolition of monuments to our soldiers and officers, for its Russophobic policy, starting with an explanation of their actions to more than 20 thousand drivers, who will lose their jobs because of their actions, and about 2 thousand Polish transport companies will go bankrupt. The total losses of the Polish economy from the decision taken by the RF State Duma are estimated at a minimum of 8 billion euros per year.https://topwar.ru/217633-gosduma-vvela-zapret-na-perevozku-polskimi-furami-gruzov-cherez-rf-i-na-ih-zapravku-toplivom-po-vnutrirossijskim-cenam.html \ A small thing, but a pleasant one.
By comparison, diesel fuel is three times cheaper in Russia. But we all think it is still expensive. Our government could give us gasoline for free ))))
To be honest, I know squat all about the battle. I see the larger global implications but the day to day wins and loses for both sides 'meh' above my non paygrade. SO carry on. I can't ban AC's because that would ban them in total from other threads. And I have no personal bans. So, for the great posters there...carry on, or better yet, start another.
