Just why has Russian child have been able to target with such precision?
I think these really accurate ones are done with krasnopol laser guided artillery shells, the drone shoots a laser at the target and the shell homes in on it. http://www.military-today.com/artillery/krasnopol.htm they do cost a lot more than the dumb artillery so they arent used as much though, but still a bargain if it takes out a million dollar piece of equipment/troops "A single Krasnopol shell costs around $35 000. That's significantly less that the cost of a single US GPS-guided Excalibur. Although the Excalibur has nearly twice the range and is more reliable."
My respects for reply and will look up link. One has to wonder or perhaps not as our world spend on such hardware yet not on feeding those who are hungry in our world. Rethorical perhaps. :hf:
To be honest, I know squat all about the battle. I see the larger global implications but the day to day wins and loses for both sides 'meh' above my non paygrade. SO carry on. I can't ban AC's because that would ban them in total from other threads. And I have no personal bans. So, for the great posters there...carry on, or better yet, start another.
