[quote:Anonymous Coward 84240375:MV81MjM4NjkzXzk2NDg4NDMwX0Y0QzcyRkQ=] [quote:Anonymous Coward 81031730:MV81MjM4NjkzXzk2NDg4MTM4Xzc1QzM4MjQ=] [quote:Anonymous Coward 84240375:MV81MjM4NjkzXzk2NDg3ODgxX0NBQzY3Mjky] The thread is chock full of Stockholm syndrome sufferers and/or (ex-)militarists who would never in their lives admit they were/are just meat puppets on the strings of fear and submission, maybe some money, commanded to kill and die for someone else's stakes and interests. No sane and spiritually sound human would ever answer 'yes' on the subject. Those who answered 'yes' can lull themselves with the notion of 'simply being realistic' or 'just establishing facts' all day long, but in the end of the day they are all part of the problem, forever dragging the dark ages along into the future and never questioning the actual fuck of why in the world people keep resigning to the existence of such an abomination of a system that can simply throw people into the meat grinder.
Agreed. The last time I might've accepted forced draft would've been sometime in the Middle-Ages when wars were being thought to actually defend ones land and culture from invasion. Perhaps the First Crusade even though I'm not a Christian. However it seems on this thread it's either sanctimonious older men who equate being drafted into a peace time Army Reserve to being drafted into a potentially World War III gauranteed death for nothing on the front lines meat-grinder scenario, or propagandists.
The latter, my friend, for regardless of them being either conscious or unconscious actors of this evil show, they are propaganding submission.
It doesn't make sense.
How can you force a person to kill people.
What if you tell them that you will commit suicide or kill your own people/soldiers if they hand you a gun?
