former Washington, D.C., detective Ted Williams believes the Nov. 13 murders of four University of Idaho students is "more personal" than a possible "peeping Tom" scenario.
Idaho police are investigating all possibilities of what drove the killer(s) to fatally stab the four young victims — Ethan Chapin, Xana Kernodle, Kaylee Goncalves and Madison Mogen — as they have yet to announce any suspects.
"There is a great deal of speculation out here. There's been some information put out about a peeping Tom.
Williams told Fox News Digital on Tuesday. "This is more personal."
He added that the suspect or suspects "took a knife" and stabbed four people, which the former detective believes makes it "highly unlikely that" investigators are "looking for a peeping Tom."
A law enforcement source told Fox News on Sunday that authorities are investigating the possibility of a peeping Tom.
The Moscow Police Department first responded to the scene on Nov. 13 following a 911 call made at 11:58 a.m. to report an unconscious person. Authorities said later on that the 911 caller thought one of the victims had passed out and would not wake up.
