That is bizarre. I remember the verse saying he was a jealous God but never claiming his name as "Jealous"
do you have a paper bible to check?
I do. Thomas Nelson KJV 1982 Copyright The quote checks out.
I have 8 different translations. Most say it the same as linked in the original post. His name is YHWH. YHVH. Yod Hey Vav Hey... Sigh.
In my 42 years of life, I have read the Bible from front to back, back to front, and everything in between *several* times...never did it mention in the past that His actual name is "Jealous" (even capitalized to denote that it's a name and not a characteristic)! It did mention that He was a jealous God and that was in reference to the people of the time worshipping other gods (such as Baal) or creating effigies of different gods (the golden bull, for example). The true name of God (in the language spoken during Moses' time) is as was written above: Yod Hey Vav Hey When written in the language of that time, which was written from top to bottom, the characters/letters formed an image of a human being (almost like a stick figure) which is part of the reason (or so it is thought) that God said "Let us make man in our image". Mandela Effect is real and those that doubt it are probably those that are native to this particular timeline we're currently living in. A lot of us, however, are not native to this timeline and thus we remember certain details very differently. -H-
