Original Message There has been quite a bit of recent earthquake in Arkansas. In another thread it was mentioned that USGS would put two temporary seismic stations in Central Arkansas.

This is a quote from a poster in the GLP monitoring station thread:

"I started a thread on this yesterday. This faultline is more likely to go at any moment than the New Madrid according to the news reports from last year.

This one has been covered with so much silt that they did not find it until sometime in 2008. They found numerous blowholes where liquafaction is taking place and are fearful that it could happen immediately and on the scale of 7 or more. The quakes that have happened have also been very shallow."
