Our current medical system, our health, aside from oil, is the very thing that we as a nation have built that has been a dependancy for how we manage our entire lives.

Somde have done well managing it under this system. Other's have not. Either way, once the insurance companies are brought down because people can't afford to pay them anymore, guess who continues to foot the bill. You and I. But this isn't about the war. We're talking about very real thousands of dollars coming out of our individual pockets every month and year until there's nothing left.

This is going to break our economy and our society. It's going to reduce the quality of care. Will there be some people who actually benefit from this who otherwise never would have been insured? Of course. The the quality of life as a whole in this nation will deteriorate as will the type of care we receive. We'll all be poorer, and everyone will be...kind of sick...all of the time. Dig?
