Many forums have like or dislike buttons on comments. Facebook, lots of MSM forums, etc. It would be nice to voice opinion using just one click, plus it keeps a running total on who liked what so it acts loosely as a poll too.

I think what OP means is a way on voting not only on the threads but also on the replies.

instead of replying "quote +1" or "quote bs" then you can simply click on "like" or "dislike" over a single reply.

I think this could be fun and good as you could scroll the reply and only read the one most liked

There also should be a way to vote on individual posters. It would be nice to be able to form a virtual lynch mob.

I want an UNPIN button for when mods go on a pinning spree and pin stuff that people may not feel is particularly important.


a PIN button would be nice too... make it so that the average pin to unpin ratio must be 75% and that there must be at least 20 votes for a pin at all, and give the PIN a definite time frame say 3-6 hours.

and of course add on a variable that makes it so a thread is only pinnable once using the pin/unpin feature.

The mods of course can repin if they want.
