"When volcanic ash reaches the stratosphere, it remains for a long time," reports Hufford. "The ash becomes a very effective block of the incoming solar radiation, thus cooling the atmosphere's temperatures."

Hmmmmmm! Does that include the radiation of CME's?
Wth all the solar events coming, could be a blessing in disguise.
John 3:16 (Amplified Bible)
“For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten ([a]unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.

A prudent person foresees the danger ahead and takes precautions;the simpleton goes blindly on and suffers the consequences-Proverbs22:3

Usually these things need to be at low latitudes in order to cause significant cooling (Tambora, Krakatoa, El Chichon, Pinatubo etc.). That is, unless it's an eruption that blows Iceland into the stratosphere...

So many possibilities.

Could happen now or 1 million years, probably somewhere in-between those times.
