I think wire transfers are the cheapest to convert...usually. "Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most" ___________ "May your chains rest lightly upon you..." |

They don't last near as long as they do down here, either...bad winters. You take a excellent shape 10-15 year old vehicle up north and people are amazed it's in such good shape....LOL Look...it still has a frame!!!! Anonymous Coward User ID: 863844 Canada 04/06/2010 01:29 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I usually pay about $4-4.50 for 4 litres of milk. Quoting: SPUDReally....that's not bad...you must be in a more populated place. That size is almost always around that price - they get you on the 1L & 2L which costs almost as much. I live mostly in Niagara Falls and this past long weekend, the weather was GORGEOUS. There were lots of tourists but almost no US plates - normally about half are from the US. It's probably also the passport regs that were brought in last May but it's rare to see anything but the odd NY plate or maybe a Florida plate - which is usually a Canadian snowbird, not a Floridian. The CAD is tied to the price of oil more than the inverse ratio some people claim there is with the USD. As soon as oil prices crash, so will the CAD. If the CAD climbs to what it did in late 07, when it reached almost $1.15, I'll probably go load up on USD. |

That's still more than what we have here. Shouldn't their price be lower? It should be but it isn't. Every single day there are tanker trucks loaded with Canadian fuel crossing the border into USA, yet it is cheaper there than here. |

crazycanuck User ID: 807970 Canada 04/06/2010 04:49 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The Canadian currency is not as valuable as the US. Also gasoline will never be $4.00/gallon. It will never happen Quoting: Anonymous Coward 659853We pay about $1 per litre here in Vancouver, sometimes 1.10. A litre is slight less than a quart, so that works out to about $4.50/gallon. Never say never! |

The US dollar is also losing value but if you look at the EUR or the GBP right now you'd see that it's actually a US dollar friendly year... So far.. |
