My Guardian Angel, or Poltergeist Demon?

Hello. This morning I was woken up at noon, exactly, by a loud whistle in my bedroom. It sounded like it was coming from the middle of the room. It also sounded cheerful.

I did not have much sleep last night, and our house had been broken into two days before, so I was having a hard time getting sleep lately. But when I heard that whistle, a weet-woo, call, like, wake up!, I nearly bolted out of bed.

My window and door was closed, and my fan was going rather loudly in the room. Still I heard it plainly.

I've been bothered by demons before, if this is a demon. I've had them pound down the bed right next to me, and I've had them touch me and make my skin crawl like a thousand electrified ants. And I've had one visit me twice in the physical form of a human shape. One was armored in dark, Japanese looking armor, the other I couldn't see, for my body froze in the bed as I heard its footsteps come into the room and stand right above me, then it made a horrible noise, like a frog croaking, but evilly so. Those two things happened quite a few years ago in other houses.

This house, when we first got here, I turned one night, as I tossed and turned in bed, not scared or anything, and saw a white marble statue of my head, floating by the side of my bed right in my face. I nearly jumped past my wife, it was so surprising to see in the dark there. The weird thing about the head statue, is that I had a beard, and it wasn't until three years later that I began to grow beards.

Anyway, God helps me when they really scare me, but I can't say for sure this is a demon, because I have been woken several times by a loud knock on the door, the bed room door, when nobody was around. And once, when woken, I would have been late without the sudden wake up call.

When I was woken up today, I thought, is this a demon or guardian angel? For last night, while in the store, I heard the same whistling that I heard this morning. My wife and I, if we get parted in a large store, will whistle to each other. Well, for the last few weeks, when I am by myself at the nearby stores, and when I was in White county again, I heard somebody whistle, and looking around, I couldn't see anyone doing it. Twice, I heard the special whipoorwill whistle that my wife and I use.

The whipoorwill is a mostly southern bird that whistles very loudly at night. We always liked the sound of it, and I learned to imitate it as a young child.

What is going on? If it is my guardian angel, why is it messing with me lately? If a demon, why did it, this morning, sound so cheerful?

I'm getting worried that it might be an angel trying to get me ready to see it without asking God to send it away as soon as I do. I feel like it is breaking me in to the oddity and scariness of the spirit world. Or, as all these bad things keep happening to me, recent horrendous illnesses, heart attacks on my birthday this year, in march, and a computer virus I and/or God solved with the help of some people on here, and bill collector trying to garnish our wages, which would have caused us to lose our house, and my grandpa's funeral, two days before my birthday, and crap, my wife almost quitting her job twice in February, my only friend in Jonesboro about to die, it has been one rough month, oh, add to that the burglary this month. They stole our tv, blue ray, new computer monitor, and over 200 movies.

Frankly, I don't miss the tv at all, yet.

Anyway, I had a dream right before I got sick, that I would be attacked by evil for three months. Well, so far, I think it has been coming true.

So you can see why I am having a hard time determining if the whistler is a guardian angel or a demon.

Do any of you ever get woken up in similar ways, do you think it could be a guardian angel?
