I´ve recently moved from Colorado ( a beer lover´s heaven) to Florida, (purgatory) where we have BOTH kinds of beer, Budweiser and Busch, *shudder*

Chance, good suggestions, I will need to switch to something a bit lighter when the heat really sets in. Meetcha at the beach!

Yeah - you definitely want a lighter beer at the beach and in summer....winter is the time for Newcastle or Sierra Nevada.

My absolute favorite is Celebrator Dopple Bock. It is pretty much impossible to get it in Florida righn now though.

So I settle for Spaten Optimator. Another double bock.

New Belgium Brewery in Fort Collins, Co. makes some great beer. I especially liked the 1554 Black Ale.

Highland Brewery in Asheville, NC makes some fine beer also.
